OPDC is proud to announce the launch of the Circular Economy School in Park Royal.
Funded by OPDC, the Circular Economy School (CES) is a new and exciting opportunity for young people aged 17–21 to explore sustainable design, hands-on making, and develop entrepreneurial skills at our circular economy hub, Minerva Works. We are looking for curious, creative young people who want to learn how to develop products using non-virgin and reclaimed materials, and help shape a greener future for Park Royal.
Led by Minerva Works’ anchor tenants - Absolute Beginners, Rescued Clay, and Recollective - this pilot programme will act as a launchpad for a longer-term education and skills initiative in the area.
Why take part?
Learn practical skills in sustainable making and product development
Work alongside experienced circular economy practitioners
Receive direct support to develop your ideas
Join a community of young creatives, makers and problem-solvers
Help shape the future of Park Royal’s green economy
How to apply?
If you would like to learn more, please visit absolute-beginners.info/ces where you can fill out a short application form. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 16 January 2026. Successful candidates will be notified by email in late-January.
