The Greater London Authority (GLA) is carrying out a Call for Sites consultation to identify sites to deliver the homes that London needs. The consultation is taking place until the end of November 2024.

The Call for Sites platform is a user-friendly, web-based GIS tool designed for users to propose new housing development sites in London and provide information about the sites in a few clicks.

Landowners, developers, industry players such as planning consultants, and members of the public are invited to submit sites they believe are suitable for new housing projects. The submitted sites are then reviewed and assessed for their suitability and viability for development through the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment conducted with local planning authorities.

The data collected is vital for informing the London Plan and forming the evidence base for local plans, ensuring a more effective and streamlined approach to planning future housing and development in London.
