The Creative Enterprise Zones are a key part of the Mayor’s wider work to support creative spaces across the capital.
Acton and Park Royal have been reaccredited as a Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) for another three years (2025–2028), following a successful renewal by the Mayor of London.
This recognises the area as one of London’s leading creative clusters and unlocks continued funding and strategic support to help creative people and businesses thrive.
It is managed jointly by Ealing Council and the Mayor’s Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.
Our impact to date
Over the past three years, the programme has delivered significant outcomes for the local creative ecosystem, including:
£400,000+ in loans to creative SMEs to secure and improve workspace.
100+ SMEs supported with one‑to‑one business advice and mentoring.
£200,000+ invested in local projects in partnership with Garden Studios, MAMA Youth, and others.
Support for the Park Royal Design District, hosting 100+ events and attracting 10,000 visitors annually.
Expansion of affordable creative workspaces, including meanwhile-use spaces.
Training and employment programmes connecting young people with film, digital, and creative careers.
Establishing a CEZ Hub providing workspace, equipment sharing, workshops, and circular‑economy initiatives.
The next CEZ cycle
Our work for the next CEZ cycle will be shaped around four key themes:
Protecting and growing creative workspace.
Embedding creativity in local planning and policy.
Inclusive talent and business support.
Legacy, partnerships and long‑term sustainability.
Get involved
We welcome participation from across the creative community, including:
creative professionals
business owners
young people interested in creative careers
organisations seeking to collaborate.
If you have an idea, initiative or project that could contribute to the future of Acton and Park Royal’s creative sector, we would be pleased to hear from you.
The CEZ will continue to work closely with local stakeholders, deliver events, commission new projects, and develop opportunities for businesses and residents to help shape the next phase of the programme. Further updates and engagement opportunities will be shared in due course.
